Plate 5: QI in a deep shade on blued paper, three good to large margins, touching at foot, used locally on 1841 (16 Nov.) entire from Prospect Place, Topsham Road to Heavitree; the adhesive has been cancelled by a large manuscript cross in bluish black ink, there are not other postal markings. This letter was delivered locally and did not pass through Exeter Post Office. A rare and rather appealing cover. Photo
