Charles Whiting: The complete page from the 1843 Arts Journal featuring the embossed "paid" head in pink, essays number 25 and 26 in red and blue plus the fancy engine-turned design surrounded by the elaborate colourless relief vase design with various floral motifs within a green engine-turned frame. The reverse with the elaborate design printed in red and green, "printed by/charles whiting/for protection against forgery". There are a few minor peripheral faults, generally fresh and fine. Photo
