A trio with 1842 (12 Feb.) hand-coloured valentine of young couple in a garden scene, bearing 1841 1d. (probably not original) cancelled by a central strike of black Maltese Cross with Huntingdon despatch on reverse and addressed to Shifford, Bedfordshire; 1843 (13 Feb.) entire lettersheet from Alfreston to Brighton bearing 1d. Stars (defective corner) tied by despatch duplex; the contents are a hand-tinted print of a young lady in a garden with a poem below; and 1840 (14 Feb.) printed lettersheet commemorating the marriage of Victoria and Albert (on 10th February) with a three verse rhyme to a gentleman in Settle; sent from London with manuscript "1" in red ink. A charming group.
