1913 (Sept. 7). “Përlindja e Shqipërisë” newspaper, “The Renaissance of Albania”, a nationalist political newspaper and essentially the official gazette of the Albanian provisional government, sent from Vlorë to Naples, franked with the 1913 10 pa. on 20 pa. rose, showing a light impression of the surcharge and overprint, tied by a neat “Vlonë” c.d.s. in violet. Very few such newspapers are recorded with this scarce stamp, paying a rare 10 para rate, which was only valid for one month; highly desirable. Michel 16.
