1913, 10pa. emerald, pair with each example displaying the overprint sideways, the two arranged face to face. Excellent impression of the overprint, very lightly tied to piece by an indistinct c.d.s., and with good centring. A couple of short perforations at lower left, as usually encountered and not detracting. An extremely rare variety in multiple; as a single, the sideways overprint variety would already be remarkably scarcer than the inverted overprint. Michel 5 (var).
