1849-63 two entire letters to England with 1849 (14 July) Russell & Sturgis printed report to Huth in London "Via Southampton" with manuscript rate mark, the reverse bearing Hong Kong type 9 c.d.s. (25.7) and London arrival (4.10); 1863 (7 Nov.) to Birmingham "via Marseilles" rated "1/5" and "1/4" in magenta ink, with Hong Kong paid c.d.s. (13.11) in red, the flap bearing Hong Kong (13.11) and Birmingham (9.1) c.d.s., clean and fine. Both overs carried privately to Hong Kong. (2 covers)
