1949-50 trio of envelopes (3) comprising Keningau: 1949 (26 Sept.) envelope to Jesselton, bearing 1947 8c. tied by clear "keningau/north borneo" double-ring d.s. in violet (Type D1); the envelope slightly truncated at right, Papar: 1950 (21 Feb.) envelope to USA, bearing 1947 10c., 25c. and 50c., all tied by distorted strikes of "papar/north borneo" double-ring d.s. in violet (Type D1) and showing Jesselton transit d.s. on reverse; the cover with some creases at lower left and Semporna: 1950 (22 Jan.) envelope to Sandakan, bearing 1947 4c. and 6c. clearly tied by "semporna/north borneo" double-ring d.s. (Type D1) in violet. A useful group with scarce cancellations
