(on reverse), circular-framed "a.r." (Type AR1; earliest recorded date) with Penang (18.4), London (13.5), New York (23.5) and arrival (24.5) datestamps; upon arrival at Savannah the envelope re-addressed to Mexico City, showing despatch datestamp, Laredo, Texas registration label and arrival c.d.s.
