A specialised, used study of the retouches, expertly written up on pages (8) including 13th Group singles (3) and pair tied to piece, 17th and 18th Group singles (4) with examples ex Stewart and Dawson, 20th Group [44] single showing retouch to crown of head, band below crown, hair on forehead, chignon and hair on neck (ex Desai), 23rd Group singles (2 showing retouches, one normal), 24th Group [48] single showing retouches to every detail of the head (ex Dawson); also A2 stone [31-32] pair of fine appearance (ex Fotheringham) and two examples of dramatic underinking. The majority with four margins, fine and a wonderful group.
