1882 (28 Nov.) and 1883 (16 June) complete Mauritius "The Merchants & Planters Gazette" newspapers, both bearing Mauritius 1879 4c. orange (the former partly attached to remains of address label), cancelled with "B53" obliterator and the former showing light sender's cachet in blue; the latter with four page supplement inside entitled "War at Madagascar" with fascinating description of the 1883 campaign; both in fine condition
