1874 (2 June) envelope (with letter) from Antananarivo to Lancashire, showing unframed oval "forwarded by/procter brothers/tamatave" fac, sent via Mauritius where 1863-72 4d. rose (2) and 1/- orange (2) were applied and clearly cancelled "B53" and showing, on reverse, blue Mauritius (23.6), red London (23.7) and arrival datestamps; the envelope repaired at top left.
