A collection in two large stockbooks housed in a small box commencing with the 6d. and including mint examples in various shades (51) as well as blocks of four (2) and a good range of used including a block of four, 8d. with a range of mint shades (18) and used, 10d. with a good range of mint shades (21) and used including blocks of four etc., 1/- with a good range of mint shades (30) and also used with a range of shades and cancellations, this stockbook also contains a mint and used range of the 2½d. value towards the back, 2/- with a large range of mint (35, including a good range of SG and RSC shades and a perf. 15 example) and used, 2/6d. with a good group of mint shades (41) and also used, 3/- with mint shades (5) including S.G. 158a (2) and some used, 5/- with mint shades (3) and used (4), 7/6d. with an example overprinted "specimen", mint examples (2) and used (2), 10/- used, £1 with a range of used (14, mainly fiscal cancellations) including an irregular block of five and a variety of shades; the wonderful balance of a superb collection formed by an expert in his field, almost every example plated and noted with provenance.
