Handstamped or Overprinted "specimen"
The complete set of fourteen values overprinted or handstamped (1½d., 1/3d. and £1) "specimen", each value affixed to small piece of paper cut from the De la Rue record book, the three handstamped values also with small green pencil strokes at top which were applied by the printer's staff when placing them in the Proof Books; fine and rare. With David Crocker Certificate (1977). S.G. 3s-8s, 10s-17s var.

Note::
Crocker assisted Robson Lowe cut up the De la Rue archives to be auctioned in 1976.
