Printed on 'Portals' Government of India watermarked paper showing the signatures of Sir James Wilson and Lord Canning. Annotations read "NB. the printing a little too low" and dated "29 Feb 1860". Features including Queen Victoria's portrait at upper left and the four Persian and Bangla denomination panels omitted from this stage of the printing. A wonderful note and extremely rare.
