EMPIRE FRANÇAIS, crown dividing denomination, date and mintmarks below, edge plain, 9.58g (Gad. 254; Maz 1768; GEM 23.1; VG 3765), dimple to cheek, brown toning with flashes of red to the peripheries and edges of devices, with lustre in recesses, extremely fine and of low mintage, very rare, in NGC holder, graded MINT STATE 64 BROWN (Cert. #8537678-001)
