NGC MS63 RB | Victoria (1837-1901), Penny, 1897 [1 + B], old head left, rev. Britannia seated right, 9.45g, 12h (BMC [Peck] 1943; Freeman 145; S.3961), choice specimen exhibiting an much original mint red lustre, particularly vibrant across the obverse fields and around the portrait profiles, reverse displays slightly more subdued, but remains detailed, extremely fine, in NGC 'Freeman' holder, graded MINT STATE 63 RED-BROWN (Cert. #8773842-011)
