(g) NGC PF60 | Victoria (1837-1901), The Extremely Elusive 'No B.P.' 'Golden Jubilee' Pattern Five-Pounds, 1887, crowned 'Jubilee' bust left, rev. St George and Dragon, 1887 below, NO B.P., 39.876g, 12h (EGC II, 1309; L&S 73; W&R 286; Marsh F32; S.3864), lamentably and carelessly handled in antiquity, with overt but superficial hairlines in otherwise residually brilliant fields, almost extremely fine for strike and the extremely rare 'Pattern' issue before the addition of Pistrucci's initials and the hardening of the dies, in NGC holder, graded PROOF 60 (Cert. #8536757-001)
