NGC AU50 | Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Eight-Testerns ['Portcullis Dollar'], 1600, Eight Testerns or Dollar, m.m. O, similar, but no stop after REGINA, point of shield to centre of N, tail of R points to tip of serif of right upright of H, rev. similar, but extreme right vertical beam of portcullis points to M, 27.55g [425.16grns], 3h, m.m. o (Prid. 1; S.2607A), slightly irregular flan, otherwise with attractive dark cabinet tone with only a trace of stress marking in obverse field, 'Squarish' flan, otherwise extremely fine, in NGC holder, graded ALMOST UNCIRCULATED 50 (Cert. #8773860-001)
