ET · HIBERNIE · REGINA · FIDEI, ship with bowsprit, surmounted by square-topped shield and mast dividing E and Rose, 1.32g [20.37grns], 5h, m.m. crescent (Brown & Comber E17; Lockett 1980 same dies; Schneider I, 795; North 2007; S.2533) struck soft on devices, otherwise peripheries sharp, scarcely very fine, a rare survivor struck during the years of the 'Armada Year' issue, in PCGS holder, graded ALMOST UNCIRCULATED 55 (Cert. #58932268)
