Z : hIBER ' : REX : half-length figure of King right, holding orb and sceptre, rev. (m.m.) • IhS .' AVTEM . TRANSIE '. PERMEDI '. ILLORV .' IBAT • crowned square topped shield with Priapic Royal Supporters, ER in cartouche below, 11.091g [171.16grns], 7h, m.m. tun (Schneider I, 692; North 1927; S.2450), some tiny graffito below shields and with some rub to portrait, otherwise with a pleasing reddish-orange tone across uniformly struck up surfaces, a really pleasing good fine to very fine, a resurgent and highly popular type for the 'Boy King', in NGC holder, graded AU Details (Cert. #8773863-001)
