Henry V (1413-1422), Half-Noble, Class C, Tower (London), h | ENRIC x' DI x' GRA x' REX x ANGL x' Z ' FR x hyB, saltire stops, King standing in ship, holding sword and shield, mullet above shield, annulet on ship, ropes 3/1, ornaments -11-11, quatrefoils 3/3, rev. + DOMInE : nE : In : FVRORE x TVO : ARGVAS : ME, double saltire stops, floriate cross, crowned leopards in angles, broken annulet in second quarter, h at centre, 3.41g [52.62grns], 7h, i.m. pierced cross (Schneider I, 239; North 1377; S.1750), very slightly creased and a small crack at 3 o'clock, otherwise stuck details uniformly very fine, rare and with red wax deposits in recesses indicative of historic plate illustration
