(x) Henry I 'Beauclerc' (1100-1135), Pax Type, Penny, Thetford, Godelef / Godleof, + HEN[RI] RE, crowned bust facing, rev. + [G]ODLEF O[N] ÐTF, commencing at 7 o'clock, PAX within beaded lines, two annulets above and below, 0.90g [13.89grns], 3h (SCBI -; North 859; BMC III [1916 ccxlii = Carlyon-Britton]; S.1264), some delamination to surfaces, otherwise prettily toned and lustrous, struck details bolder than fine, the only known example of a Pax type for Godelef
