(x) Eadgar (959-975), Post-Reform, Penny, 973-975, London, Wigferth, + EADGAR REX ANGLORx, diademed and draped bust left, rev. + PIGFERÐ M¯O LVN • small cross pattée in centre, 1.62g [25.00grns], 9h (EMC 1994.0200 this coin; North 752; BMC vi; S.1141), a field find with resulting patina, with trace porosity and central weakness, only fair to fine, but extremely rare, the moneyer not noted in BMC and only one a fragmentary coin as a parallel on EMC
