(x) Eadgar (959-975), Portrait Type, Penny, "East Anglian" Group ~ Exceptional Issue, Norbert / Northbert, + EADGAR RE, crowned and draped bust right, rev. + NORBERT MONETAN, small cross pattée atop central bar with floral terminals, 1.58g [24.38grns], 9h (SCBI -; CTCE 381 variety, cf. 393; North 750 variety; BMC v variety [Coll.no. -]; S.1138 variety), an unfortunate crack through centre and field scuffs to a full round flan, nevertheless boldly struck up, better than very fine, presumed UNIQUE, the reverse variety unpublished
