HACV | SMO¯T, with spiked O, legend in two lines, divided by three cross pattées, trefoil above and below, 1.27g [19.60grns], 7h (HT 1 NE V; SCBI 6 [Scotland], 475 same reverse die [Islay, Machrie Hoard]; SCBI 34 [BM], 953 same dies [Tetney, East Lindsey Hoard]; CTCE 17; North 741; BMC i; S.1129), some die wear through centres, otherwise with a lustrous tone, very fine, a very scarce moneyer with only one die duplicate recovered from the Tetney (1945) trove
