(x) Danish East Anglia (c. 885-915), 'St Edmund Memorial Coinage', Penny, c. 895-915, East Anglian Mint, Cunernet [?], + CIEADMIVE, A with diagonal bar in centre, rev. + CVNRNETIE, cross pattée in centre, 1.24g [19.14grns], 1h (SCBI -; North 983; BMC -; S.960), superb cabinet toning with golden iridescent fields, well-centred, extremely fine, very rare, the moneyer not listed in North, but highly reminiscent of the 'Cvnnetti' emissions of the Viking Kingdom of York
