Charles II (1660-1685), First Hammered Issue, Sixpence, 1660-1662, Tower (London), crowned 'Coronation' bust left, no mark of value or inner circles, rev. square-topped shield over cross moline, 2.97g [45.83grns], 3h (ESC 1507; Bull 274; North 2765; S.3309), once love-tokened and straightened with graffito and scuffing in obverse field, otherwise naturally toned on a neat round flan, struck details very fine, the reverse pleasingly so with underlying lustrous accentuations in recesses, scarce
