(x) Tibet 1903-04, silver issue, no clasp (144 Sap Driver Virasami 12 Co 2nd Q.O. S.&M.), suspension slack and polished, about very fine

The recipient served with the 12th Company, Queen's Own Sappers & Miners. The regiment was crucial for the navigation of the mountainous terrain, building of bridges and crossings and transportation of artillery and animals on the British expedition to Tibet.
