Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Defence of Mafeking (H. P. Dennison, Mafeking Town Gd.), nearly extremely fine
Herbert Purcell Dennison was born at Queenstown, Cape Colony in March 1862, the son of Henry and Mary Dennison. He appears on the roll for the Freemason's Lodge, Mafeking in 1894, a position he still held during the Defence before resigning in 1903. Dennison died at the National Hospital, Bloemfontein on 16 March 1928; sold together with copied research.
