During the summer of 2024, Spink were honoured to host four charity auctions in partnership with the Bank of England. At the same time, sets of the earliest publicly available serial numbers were also on the market. Here, we present one of those ballot sets; the four denominations of the new King Charles III Bank of England notes, with the serial number 01 002894. As of this month (June 2025), Victoria Cleland has been reinstated as the Chief Cashier. Therefore, these are the only King Charles III notes featuring the signature of Sarah John
