Bank of England, Sarah John, £20, 2018 (20 February 2020), low serial number AA01 000250, A familiar design by now, here is the purple £20 polymer with the portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II at right of obverse, and a self portrait of Turner and his painting of The Fighting Temeraire in field on the reverse.

This note was bought at the Charity Auction of Bank of England Notes at Spink in 2020 (Sale 20036, Lot 79). It is now back to market for the first time since its original purchase,
