Efficiency Medal, G.VI.R., Territorial (4033589 Pte. G. Barras. K.S.L.I.), correction to beginning of regimental number, otherwise very fine

G. Barras served in the Second World War with the 1st Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry as part of the Expeditionary Force in Italy. There, he appears twice on casualty lists as being wounded: the first on 8 February 1944 and again on 17 May 1944. Barras later transferred to the Royal Norfolk Regiment on 17 June 1945.
