this 5 Dinars note was issued by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 1949. On the obverse, an image of King Abdullah is featured to the right of the design. King Abdullah was the founder and first King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, ruling from 1946 to 1951. Arabic text appears on the obverse of the note, whilst English text appears on the reverse. The denomination of 5 Dinars appears on all four corners of the design. Furthermore, the obverse showcases a rock-cut architecture of Al Khazneh (The Treasury) at Petra. This image symbolises Jordan's cultural heritage and national identity, with Al Khazneh being one of the seven wonders of the world
