During the summer of 2024, Spink were honoured to host four charity auctions in partnership with the Bank of England. At the same time, sets of the earliest publicly available serial numbers were also on the market. Here, we present one of those ballot sets; the four denominations of the new King Charles III Bank of England notes, with the serial number 01 002735. As of this month (March 2025), Victoria Cleland has been reinstated as the Chief Cashier. Therefore, this series will be the only King Charles III notes featuring the signature of Sarah John

(EPM B419, 420, 421, 422, Straus S5R1, S6R1, S7R1, S8R1), all in PMG holders 66 EPQ Gem Uncirculated to 67 EPQ Superb Gem Uncirculated (4 notes)
