Nepal, Jaya Ranajit Malla (1722-1769), Mohar, NS 842, Obv. conch (Śa?kha) and wheel (cakra) in central circle, a bow to right and five arrows to left, legend, Śrī Śrī Jaya Ra?a, flowers in field, five dots to upper left of the syllable ja., Rev. inverted central triangle contains elephant goad (a?kuśa) and noose (pāśa), to left of triangle lotus flower (padma) and to right mace (gada), legend continues, jit Malla Deva 842, five dots to the lower left of the syllable ma, 4.96g, 3h (RGV 561), evidence of mounting and worn, about very fine

This Mohar is a close copy to the ones struck in the name of Chakravartendra Malla of Kathmandu (RGV 264), described above. While in the case of Chakravartendra, the design of the coin has been considered as inauspicious, since this king died the same year as his coronation.
