Nepal, Jaya Prakash Malla (2nd reign c.1750-1768), Suki, NS 873, Obv. trident with two ribbons at lower end in centre and hand-drum (damaru) in upper left of trident, legend, Śrī 3 Paśupati., Rev. sword with garland and legend, Śrī 3 Gujheśvarī 873, 1.29g, 12h (RGV 365), edge nick, about very fine; Adhani, undated, Obv. sword with garland, legend Śrī /Jaya/ Prakā. Rev. kāśa Malla, lion facing left below legend, 0.38g, 12h (RGV 369), darkly toned, very fine; uniface Paisa (32índ part of Mohar) (2), undated, Obv. much as before, 0.15g; 1.17g (RGV 370), both good very fine, rare; uniface Dam (4), undated, Obv. sword in centre, legend Śrī Ja/ya Pra- (RGV 371; KM 236), generally very fine and scarce (8)

This Suki does not have any king’s name, but was tentatively attributed by Rhodes et al. (1987) to Prakash Malla who had found shelter in the temples of these Hindi gods while in exile.

Pashupati is an incarnation of Shiva, while Gujheshvari is an incarnation of his consort Parvati, both these incarnations being very popular in the Kathmandu Valley.
