1940 (24 Dec.) envelope registered from Kizil to Yatung, Tibet bearing on the front air mail 2t. and on the reverse air mail 1k. 5k. and 10k. cancelled by Kizil code 'A' despatch c.d.s. travelled via Shanghai (27.2.41) and showing 'yatung tibet/via silinguri (12.5.41) c.d.s. On arrival the cover was re-directed to USA and censored during its Indian travel before arriving in New York (21.8.41). Some expected faults not detracting from the overall appearance. A fascinating piece of postal history
