1860 (12 July) entire letter from Singapore to Rev. W.C. Raffles Flint, the son of Captain William Flint who was the brother-in-law of Stamford Raffles, at Staines, marked "via Marseilles", bearing 1856 2a. dull pink and 4a. black (two stained perfs at right), both cancelled "B/172" and showing, on reverse, "forward by/guthrie & co/singapore" oval fac in red, despatch and arrival datestamps.
