1892 4½d. hand painted essay in grey-violet, green and pale green wth details picked out in Chinese white, executed on tracing paper (58x82mm.), lettered "g" and dated "feb 1/92", lightly cancelled by pen cross. Very fine and most attractive, one of a series of ten essays produced by De La Rue for the 4½d. value.
