FJ, margins all round, smudged black Maltese Cross cancellation, on entire letter to Swinhoe with Belford and Newcastle on Tyne datestamps of 1 July 141 on the reverse; IB, touched at places, tied by red Maltese Cross on entire to Monmouth with Bristol c.d.s. on 9 Jan 1841 on the reverse; QA, touched at right, tied by a fine black Maltese Cross to entire letter to Shaftsbury with "No. 6" and Shaftsbury/Penny Post" alongside; some minor imperfections but a good trio from this scarce Plate
