A18 1840 (19 May) from London to Kinsale, Ireland addressed upside-down to Mrs. Nettles in Kinsale, cancelled by central red Maltese Cross , the reverse with London d.s.; also 1840 1d. black Plate 1b, FI applied to the upper left, upside-down and tied to 1841 (8 Feb.) entire letter from Wexford to Bristol, the reverse with Enniscorthy d.s. and London transit marking. Mulready ex Doron Azouri, with faults though a remarkable pair, both most probably examples of Irish protest.
