1826 (25 April), long entire letter to Newcastle upon Tyne with "woolwich/ev/ap 25/1826" country sorting office datestamp with "2" alongside, 1826 (29 Dec.) entire letter to Norwich with London "3" deleted by zig-zag handstamp and replaced by "2", 1829 On His Majesty's Service." entire with printed "Admiralty Office/J.W.Croker at lower left, with red "(Crown)/Free/4 MY 4/1829" datestamp, largely intact red wax "sigl offi: m g: admir: & c:*/(fouled anchor)" seal on the reverse, extensively overwritten; good to fine
