1856 (1 Apr.) entire registered from Tanunda to Gawler, bearing 1855 watermark Large Star, imperf 2d. rose-carmine pair (touched in places) and 6d. deep blue (touched at bottom left) cancelled "30", showing despatch and "registered no" h.s. with, on reverse, Adelaide transit d.s. (12.4). A most attractive example of the 4d. per 1oz. inter-colonial letter plus 6d. for registration.
