½d. green, Die 1A imprimatur on gummed, watermark Crown paper, good to large margins all round with part original gum; fine and unique in private hands. R.P.S. Certificate (1994) states "stamp R16.2 (official plate 4/4), only example taken from one of sheets from first Die 1A printing on 30th. May 1911", it also states "slightly faded" which seems overly harsh as the colour is quite fresh. Specialised £7,000
