St. Sampson's: 1852-60, five envelopes including 1852 (Sept.) to Devonport with undated double arc in reddish ink; 1853 (18 March) to Guernsey with undated double arc in yellow-orange; 1858 (23 Oct.), both bearing 1841-53 1d. red-brown; 1858 (23 Oct.) and (5 Nov.) envelopes to London, the reverse with undated double arc in blue, all bearing single frankings of perforated 1d. red; and 1860 (17 Jan.) sent registered to Jersey with undated double arc in blue, bearing perforated 1d. red irregular block of four and horizontal strip of three tied by '324' barred numeral of Guernsey and Guernsey d.s. Generally fine and a scarce assembly.
