St. Sampson's: 1852 (Oct.) envelope to Tottenham Green bearing 1841-53 1d. red-brown (IJ) diagonal crease, clear margins all round, tied by '324' barred numeral of Guernsey, the envelope struck by 'St. Sampson's' undated double arc handstamp in orange-yellow, the reverse with Guernsey 05.08 d.s. in blue and red arrival marking. Scarce.
