1971 (25 Aug.) 100Th Anniversary of Rugby Football 9p. multicoloured, variety myrte-green omitted (affecting trousers and rose leaves), superb unmounted mint condition, offered with normal for comparison, one of the rarest modern Great British errors with only three mint examples known. the variety is listed by Stanley Gibbons but unpriced mint, the last example we offered for sale sold for £5,800.
