EF, greyish black shade, good to large margins all round, tied by a fine black Maltese Cross cancellation to small mourning envelope to Manchester with Overseal/Penny Post handstamp and Ashby de la Zouch c.d.s. of 2 April 1841 alongside. Also entire letter to Ashby de la Zouch franked 1841-53 1d. Plate 68; HH, with "30" barred oval cancellation and Overseal (Penny Post removed) and c.d.s. of 20 Oct. 1845 alongside. A fine pair. Each with Eichele Certificate (2011)
