FE, small to good margins all round, tied by a crisp red Maltese Cross to entire (no lower flap) to Gloucester, fine Lombard St. Maltese Cross datestamp of 27 May 1840 on the reverse; fine. With Karl Louis Certificate (2008) stating "The stamp with a small paper pore or pinhole (prior to use)... An attractive "May-date" cover."
