GJ, LH and MK, all tied by red Maltese Crosses to entire letters or envelopes: 1840 (30 June) entire letter to Sudbury; 1840 (2 Dec.) entire letter from Welshpool to Leicester, the adhesive in dark shade and the Cross in scarlet shade; and 1840 (3 Aug.) envelope from Lewes to Gloucestershire. Generally fine, with clear margins all round large and very fine in places.
